The minister of security(Uganda) and the inspector of police have been fired  by the president of the republic of Uganda, this has come as a result of many fights and accusations of each side pointing at each other as the source of insecurity in the country. 

Today evening  the president of uganda His excellence Yoweri Kaguta Museveni decaired officially that He had replaced the two( minister of security and inspector general of police)

In exercise of powers granted to me by the Constitution, I have appointed Gen Elly Tumwine as the Security Minister. I have also appointed Mr Okoth Ochola as the Inspector-General of Police. He will be deputised by Brig Sabiiti Muzeei.
